Hi there! The Moodpie is an Illustration project based in Meanjin, Brisbane, Australia. It follows the adventures of a little magpie navigating mental health, careers and self discovery.

The Moodpie hatched in April 2020 as a response to the emerging global lockdowns. From there, she has found a steady footing in regular comics and illustrations, murals as well as original artworks, ceramics, and mixed media works.

The Moodpie was created by artist Kate Hallen and is grounded in self-reflection and observations of the world around her.
